Hey everyone, I’m new to this site/forum.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what “wind bars” were. I’m wondering because a guy I know has this dragon sleeve on his entire left arm and at the top, near his deltoid, are these bar-like tattoos that I can’t seem to find the name of. I asked him too and he said he forgot what they were called.

All I know is that these “bars” are generally tattoo’d with a water-like theme.

It looks similar to this (the black ‘bars’ around his shoulder) but they’re much thinner and closer together.

    Hi

Wind bars are a physical representation usually of coming storms the thicker the stronger the storm envisaged will be.

They are also often associated with wind demons who were thought to drive them across the earth with their breath.
