On ebay and other sites you can buy a tattoo removal laser from around 800 pounds.
Just wondering if anyone had considered buying and trying their own laser machineor is there anyone out there who has already done so.
They seen to have the same spec as the ones the professionals use.
I am so tempted to try one of these as i want to lighten a full sleeve which goes over my chest to get a cover up.
Even if it took longer it would save money in the long run. I have considered other removal methods but I can’t see how the creams would work and am wee bit wary of scarring with tca.
Look forward to your opinions.

hi to be honest linda it is not something that you or anyone else who has not had some type of training to be messing with !
i never noticed them on ebay but it does not surprise me at all !
why do you want a cover up , if your tattoo looking old ?
A belt sander might work better.
No, seriously, it’s no dumber to use a belt sander than to DIY with a god damned lazer.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
Well, the good thing is that such stupidity often takes care of it self 😉
Hi Linda
First of all the creams are a waste of time and I would not waste money on them for the amount of lifting they do ink wise.
I understand what you are saying about the investment – most places charge way above £800 to fade or remove a sleeve looking prob at around £1500+
The temptation is how hard can it be?
Well if you click on my sig it will explain how the lasers work.
You need somebody who has been fully trained in their usage if you go too strong you will end up with burns and scarring – which may not be noticable until further down the line.
The thing with ebay is you have no clue as to the quality of the machine or their safety. They do not care if the machine is misused or used incorrectly or the damage it can cause.
The are only after a quick sale.
I would recommend speaking with a dermatologist your GP can refer you and possibly you might qualify under the NHS for laser treatment.

i didn’t know NHS did laser treatment , is that mainly for young kids that get something stupid ?
Hi
It is case by case really not many spaces but have ehard a couple of ppl get it. You usually have to prove that the comestic impact of the tattoo is detrimental to your mental health or you had it done as a minor etc.
