    im looking to get my 1st tatoo and the style im looking for makes it look like its sunk into the skin,,kind 3d if u know what i mean ,,any help would be greatly appreciated ,,thanx and ill post pics when finnished

    It almost sounds kinda like embossing. But that is not a tattooing term, that I am aware of.

    Hi

    Are you talking about scarification with added ink or do you mean a 3D style of tattoo art?
    If you could post up an example of what you are getting at we can help more.

    There is a good deal of work out there…I suppose you could call it a “style” that there is no name for.

    I’ve done wording…lettering on people that gives the appearance of letteres sunk into, cut into, burned into, or embossed into the skin. But what do you call it?

    Hell, I don’t know.
