    Hi there,

    im new to the forum so please go easy on me!

    I have 3 tatoos (well techincally 2 because I got a cover up) and want to ask a question about the quality. Where should I post this question?

    I got my ex-girlfriends name covered up (i know, school boy error getting that tattood in the first place!) with a tribal design that covers my chest and shoulder. However, its been about 3 weeks and the healing is done and I’m just not happy with the way the design has been coloured in.

    It is supposed to be all black, however it is very patchy (sometimes its black, a lot of it just looks like bad tattooing!) and the outlines are very poor. it was done freehand and i can see where the tattoo has been done before the artist has changed his mind to tryand make the design wider, leaving me with 2 outlines and poor shading.

    Where should i post this or can anyone give me any help at all?

    I know its a vague description but its the best I could think of. what should i do about getting the tattoo fixed? im not sure i trust the same artist again!

    By all means, just take a pic or four and post them in this thread. The tattoo experts that frequent this place (that’s definitely not I, mind you) will probably only be able to help if they see some pics 🙂

    The easy answer without seeing it thought: The man’s obviously lacking in skill. Go out to a DECENT tattooist and have him fix it.

    if matthew see’s it he should be able to help.

    I think if when its totally healed you should be able to re work the tattoo a couple of times and the lines should not be noticeable .
