    hey every one,

im looking too get a new tat, i personally think that there is no better way too describe and/or tell a story (in my case life story) than a tattoo.

My father beat my mother when i was young so she sold everything she had and traveled across country to escape from him, she worked too support me and my brother at minimum wage. i was always a mamas boy, until she passed away when i was only 16, she missed me getting my licensee, graduation, turning 18 and 21. It is harder then you think being on your own at that age, no one too turn too for help. Shortly after i tried too commit suicide but came too my wits. i was still charged and incarcerated on firearm charges. later i was convicted of a serious misdemeanor which most employers consider a felony.I bet you could only imagine what Ive been since then. It seems too never change.

I guess i am just looking for a tattoo too TRY and describe this in any way…any ideas?

Speaking as someone that’s gone through a similar amount of life altering events, I have to say that I don’t believe it CAN be done in A tattoo.

Personally I’ve taken the approach to make A tattoo for each monumental event or special point in time for my life. I’ve begun at the beginning (my birth, that which first defines anyone) but decided to get all the rest out of context, or not in the correct chronological order. My next will be a forward-facing and positive tattoo, but the one after that might be a 20 year old negative one… and so forth. Then maybe some day I’ll just sleeve the whole thing over, combining all the tattoos into one piece that is me.

If you are (somewhat) like me, I’d suggest starting with what seems to be the most poignant part in your story.. your mother and her demise.

If you think it can be done in one tattoo, feel free to ignore me completely 🙂

Talk to an artist about and see have he can draw up for you. Lol, seriously I think all tattoo artists doouble as psychologists!!! I always talk my guys ear off when something is wrong.

I’d say go with a few diff pieces. Maybe get a portrait for your mother, and put mommas boy above and her b-day/d-day below. I am a big fan of portraits…lol, I’m waiting for someone in my family to die just to get one [yeah, I know that sounds messed up but atleast I want some real meaning behind my ink]

I’m a big fan of the statement ” LIVE & LEARN”, you could get that breaking a chain to symbolize being in jail, and learning from your mistakes.

I’m not the best at coming up with designs for other peoples ink, lol sometimes I don’t even know why I respond!!!!
