i currently have a German eagle tattooed on my back by my right shoulder. (click here to see) well i want to expand it somehow to cover my whole back. i don’t want to cover it because it represents my family and lots of things. i was tryin to get some ideas on how you would suggest i could add more without it looking junkie or cluttered

Does your family have it’s own heraldic coat of arms that you could balance out the other shoulder blade and beneath that you could have a motto underneath.
It is quite difficult to make the piece a whole tattoo as it is nationalistic/heraldic in nature and is a standalone piece.
Perhaps you could look for any other symbolism of your heritage such as a red and white lion (symbolises the house Wagner was born in) etc
