just get the outline and basic markup first, then carry on as you can afford it, bits n pieces here and there. Doing it like this always will end up costing you more, but makes for the equivilent of an easy pay plan. Full day sessions work out cheaper if you can afford larger payments. As for price, depends, anything from £300 to £3000, the work involved and when and where you decide to stop dictates this.

how long you can sit there for and take if you book 6 hours and only have 3 hours expect to pay for 6 hours
i book my guy for half or a full day
but have other people that want a tattoo there so when you have had enough someone else can get in the chair
that way he gets paid in full and progress is made on your tattoo
