Hello….im 20, and currently doing my diploma in architecture but the problem is im into tattoo and just to make things worst my parents hates people with tattoos.So basically im in a dilemma of chosing what am i suppose to do later in life.Im want to be a tattoo artist but yet i want to fulfill my parents dream of me being an architect.I hope someone out there can give me some advice.
To be quite honest with you… it’s your life. It’s not my life, it’s not your parent’s life, it’s your’s. You need to decide what you want to do without the influence of someone else telling you what to do. I assume that you are already in school for architecture right now because of your parents? Do you like it at all? That’s something you need to find out. It pays good money, it’s a secure job, your family probably just wants the best for you. So what I would do, is take up tattooing as a hobby rather than a job right now… Play around with the idea of being an artist and see if you’re any good first. Then you need to do what only you can do and that is to decide on what you will be happy doing for the rest of your life.
Remember it’s your life and no one else’s.
