I am waiting to get my first Tattoo. I want it to mean something.. I want it to do with the death of my mother Died @ 39 and the birth of my son.. 2 years later I want it to mean like a rebirth.. Where like my world was taken and now it was given back. I have been searching for a while and cant really find anything that I’m trying to explain.

Thanks in advance for any help

Don’t dwell in the past. Your mother is gone, say a prayer for her, but get a tattoo for you.

If you want a tribute to her, donate to her favorite charity in her name. (she would have liked that much more)

I was thinking it would be nothing but Chapter 9 of Alcott’s Little Women.

You know, in memory of my dead grandma. She was only 4′ 8″ in shoes.

That remind me of “Sissy” in Betty Smith’s “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” (Harper & Brother 1943). She had 10 “blue baby” deaths before they could afford a doctor. The 11th was “blue” too, but lived with only oxygen to pull him through.

Sadly, I only bought and read the book because it was in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

When I was a little kid (probably 9 or 10) I thought it was really bad ass to sneak Naked Lunch out of the library. I was so disappointed and pissed.
