Ten years ago i noticed a change in my vision and ever since then my life has changed. I have gone through ups and downs with my vision loss and it took me seven years to finally be given a diagnosis. I am now legally blind but still full of hope. I have always wanted my first tattoo to symbolize that even though my vision is blurry, my hope is not blurred. I want this tattoo to somehow incorporate the loss of my vision but also how i still have hope and courage.
Does anyone have any ideas of what my first tattoo can be and what part of my body i should have it on??
welcome to the forum ,
hmm i dont really have any ideas at the moment but i will think on it for you .
my bestest friend in the whole world is blind and he always jokes about getting a bat tattoo
but i actually think it could be made into a serious idea because bats are quite cool .
do you have any ideas at all , it might helps us put our thinking caps on.

oh. p.s do you use talks and does it read the site alright ??
well thank you for taking the time to think of some ideas.
I actually do not have any ideas as to what i would want. I have been thinking and searching for ideas but have not come up with anything haha. So i was hoping to find ideas from those who may have had more experience in getting tattoos and so forth. …
& no i do not use that device. I have a magnifying device on my laptop but i do not remember the name.
once again thank you!
sure people will think of something once we know what direction to go in.
what styles do you like ?
what do you mean by styles??
i meant do you like japanese , old school, pretty and girly , tribal , new school ?
they are to many to mention 😉
hmm…thats a good question.
I do like the japanese style and “pretty and girly”.
But i can honestly say i am very open minded to anything.
Specifically for this tattoo i wouldnt want it to seem “dark”
you could get a really pretty geisha girl covering her eyes or one eye with a japanese fan .
just an idea off the top of my head
Hi
There are several Japanese themes actually
There is the cherry tree and blossoms that symbolises the passage of life and rebirth
The koi which is endurance and success when faced with hardship
You could have a floating candle on a small pool of water with lotus blossoms.
Could go for a text design of ‘Hope never dies.’
Place really depends on the size of the tattoo and how public you wish your ink to be be.

i like that idea.
That would have a lot of detail and b very pretty.
i will definitely look into this idea and fine images of a geisha girl.

where do you want to place your tattoo ?
and what size was you thinking of having it ?
i have always wanted one on the side of my ribs…so that would be pretty big lol
