    Hi everyone,

    I have a panther on my back (lower left). Had it done when I was about 17 and now want to change it for something a little more feminine, i am searching for ideas but I really don’t know what will cover it up properly, if anything? I am hoping one of you out there will be able to give me some advice or know someone in the Watford or Stevenage/Welwyn area of Hertfordshire who will be able to help?

    I have attempted to add a picture but looks like i am can only upload if it is on a webpage and it isnt. (It is approx 2.5inches wide and 6 inces high). I was thinking something along the lines of butterfly, or flowers something like that.

    Suggestions or help and advice of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi

    We would need to know the following;

    Exact placement – Is it above the left kidney?

    To cover it up you would have likely go to a minimum of 3 inches by 8 inches – are you prepared to go this big or bigger?

    Do you want colour or black n shade?

    Femine style – Do you want butterfly or butterflies?, Flower eg orchid or rose or flowers or a mixture?

    Would you consider an animal/mammal/aquatic theme? Eg Dolphin(s), Pandas, Koi or mermaid(s)?

    Once you are a little more specific would be more than happy to help with link inspiration.

    Yeah, i am prepared to go that big, i would rather keep it as small as posible, but know that to cover up i might need to go bigger so yes i am prepared to go as big as i have to really, without going too big!

    I really dont have anything particular in mind so i really am open to suggestions as to design, i think it is more ‘what will be able to cover it’ that i am focusing more on rather than the specific design. as long as it is something ‘nicer/feminine’ than i have now i will be happy…I dont really want animals though.

    with regards to colour, i think i would like colour rather than just black ink

    Hi

    If you search the threads with the tag deep floral you will see a thread called creative input started by Azure.

    I placed a thread there on how to layer up a floral design which may work for you cover up.

    I would also recommend google images for the style of flowers you want. I am also happy to post you links to tattoo examples once you get a feel for the style you want.
