    Hi i’m new to the forum and the tattoo world… I plan on getting two within the coming months… first one being in a couple weeks… I know what I want i just don’t know how to make it look real good… All idea’s would be extremely helpful!! pics and all thanks for the help much appreciated

    The first tattoo is going down my right side and it’s two words in swedish “lev livet” i would like the tattoo to stand out and look very good… It will go all the way down the side so fairly large text…

    Hi Tdm

    Brave first tat – I hear ribs proper hurt 😉

    Anyhow a few things to consider;

    Is the text going to be a stright black and shade or are you going for some colour.
    Is it going to be open or in a frame eg border? I always say open as you may want to incoporate another tattoo later on.
    The two things that make it look good is the font and good outline/shading.

    I am not promoting the content but it gives a wide mix of scriptural tattoos so you can get a feel for fonts, layout, and so on.

    yeah the other tattoo is the other side of me “alltid rik” down the side in the same styling… its going to be no color just black with a little shading not too much…. and yeah i know the ribs are gonna hurt haha
