    Hi,
I was thinking about getting my first tattoo while I have time off work. The idea I had,but I can’t draw worth a crap is I dig the Batman Logo and I also dig the ‘crow’ and was wondering if someone could draw up some ideas for this.
I was kindof wanting the Batman emblem as main outline, but with the crow wings to blend in. with Heath Ledger/Brandon Lees name in center or somewhere appropriate with their birth/death dates(don’t know off hand but just make something up for now). I also thought with the wing idea is too maybe also split the Batman emblem in middle to make it appear as wings as well w/o loosing the batman emblem….

Also, not really into the tat scene, but whats the best way to find a good tatoo shop? thanks

Can’t draw for shit so sorry no help on design.

Best way to find a decent tattoo shop is to look around on the internet in your area view their portfolio’s of work done – visit the shop(s) check that they are clean and sterile and ceritificated (if appropriate). Check their work done folders.

I cannot underline the checking for sterile enough.

Once you have got an idea of the artist download the emblems and get the artist to mock up your idea.

Also be sure that you really want the design because it will be on there for a really long time.

I did a tout across 9 states and around 50 or so artists – let me know the area you are in might be able to throw a suggestion your way on shops (I kept a hit list of both good and shops to avoid). I also live in UK so might be able to suggest there if you are on this side of the water.

    Good Luck
