view of history. What would you do? We want separation of church and state, not someone using this as their voice.
We looked into on the internet and these films have already been outlawed in Mississippi. The producer has admitted to some of the quotes not being real or well documented.
One of the films said that if we go with Christian based education that there is less teen sex.
I don’t dislike Christians, or any other religion but I don’t want propaganda taught as history.
Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing? How is it best to complain?

OK…well what kind of history class is there that talks about teen sex?
What is your kid learning in history? Most teachers have to get the films okayed by the school board, at least where I live…I’m sure if you talk to the teacher or school board you can see why he was using those videos…or are they getting to him?
stop trying cause a fuss when it could be over nothing…maybe if your so free thinking, like your fellow non-believers claim to be, your son would be able to just ignore the videos….

Don’t go and get a lawyer first thing. Speak with the teacher, then, if that doesn’t help, the principal. If that doesn’t help, go to the school board. If that doesn’t help, then you get a lawyer.

Unless this is some kind of comparative religion class, I’d freak out on the administration. If you speak up, I bet other parents would chime in as well.

i am going to assume this is a public school.
if so, call your local board of education, and the schools superintendent. This is probably something that is being done by a teacher alone, with a quiet nod from the principal, and if it is, if you raise enough of a stink about it, going directly to the board and the super will fix it FAST.
if not, the ACLU has a 1-800# and would just LOVE to hear from you 🙂
also, some local media stations might want to run a story…
oh, (and for fanochan’s comment down below) i hope a muslim fanatic teaches your kids, you anti-American fundie fool.
