This is Catnip, I’m just befuddled by the lullaby, could someone “break it down” (perhaps, explainthe MEANING?)
i.e.>”Rock-a-by baby,
on the treetop,
when the wind blows,
the cradle will rock,
when the bough breaks,
the cradle WILL FALL….(that’s quite a way’s DOWN!)
and down will come BABY……….
CRADLE AND ALL? (SADISTIC!!!!INDEED!! Would’nt
that hurt, even perhaps, KILL the POOR BABY?)
