I hate it! Okay There might be one or two songs of rap or hip-hop I can stand, but over all I think I kinda sounds the same. I love alternative, 90’s, 80’s and even 60’s. But why does everyone like rap so much?
Because almost all rap is about drugs, sex, violence, and all other crap. I dont like to hear that when I listen to music.

BEcause. we can relate to it. Rap music helps you cope with life. And some losers’ just follow the crowd, and act like they like rap or hiphop. if you hate it, its your opinion. Maybe you should listen to more diverse rap. Instead of commercial rap. Then maybe you’d reconsider.

I like both, I will listen to anything as long as it has a good beat and hook! I’ll listen to the Flyleaf, Lil Kim, Aaliyah, George Micheal, Beyonce, Skid Row, Poison,Motley Crue, Justin Timberlake, System of down, Beatles, Michael Jackson, Temptations, Corinne Bailey Rae, etc.
Some people are not open minded to really try new or old things they just find something good and stick with it!

now to answer your question i still listen to songs from the 90s like tainted love, eurythmics sweet dreams, and no doubt, even the beach boys but they still come secondary to rap and hip hop to me
this is because they are very relatable and in order to fully enjoy it you have to be able to read past the negative because the negative of it is just reality for that rapper

I Don’t Care If You Hate It….All Of Us Basically Hate 90s 80s /and Whatever….But Yea Mainly Teenagers Like Rap Because You Can Express Yourself….There Are Cool Dance Songs Such As Crank That Soulja Boy Or Cupid Shuffle….You’ll Like Cupid Shuffle Better….Songs With Deep Meaning Such As Ludacris Runaway…And Fight Songs And Stuff….Not All Of It Is Bad Rump Shaking Whatever Your Image Of It Is….Let’s Be Truthful….I Know Your Image Of Rap When You Think Of IT…”Gangsters Hoodlums Naked Women And Bad Words All Over…Pants Saggin And Blah Blah Blah….If You Don’t Like The New Rap Then Try The Old Rap….All Of It Is Great….But Alot Of “Certain Types Of Kids” Don’t Like Rap….They Just Say They Do Because Someone Else They Look Up Too Likes It Or Alot Of Thier Friends Do So They Act Like They Do To Fit In…
