I just watched the film for the first time last night & I’m confused. Joe points the gun at Mr. Orange, Mr. White points his gun at Joe, Eddie then points his gun at Mr. White so when everybody shoots & falls to the ground, why does Eddie fall? No one had their gun pointed at him so WHY?? It’s driving me nuts…..

According to the script what was SUPPOSED to happen was Mr. White (Larry Dimmick) was supposed to shoot Joe and wheel around and shoot “Nice Guy” Eddie, but Chris Penn’s “squib” went off too early so he immediately fell to the ground as he was supposed to without realizing White had not fired. Quentin Tarantino thought the sequence would cost too much to reshoot (was on a tight budget) and left it in.
