It takes place in a dept.store.The characters are the miserly store owner,the idealistic young clerk,the young somewhat bumbling unionizer,and the store owners unwitting love intrest.
The store owner becomes friends with the other characters who are trying to unionize his store.He even falls in love,and eventually has a change of heart.
