at the end of the film babel (or very near the end) the deaf and mute japanese girl hands the policeman a note which he tucks in his pocket and looks at it when he is in the bar, while the news is on.

it’s only on the screen very briefly and obviously written in japanese but does anyone have any ideas what i said?
