Thanks to the Dirty south I think it’s safe to pronounce the death of hip hop. Artists from the south haven’t proved anything yet, doubt they will either. They all sound the same, not much lyrics in their songs. Most of their lyrics could fit across a bumper sticker. If their songs had meanings other than being about rims, sex, titties and the silver lining they put in their mouth to cover their sh!t stains left on their teeth, they might have a little more credibility. With the exception of Ludacris and Outkast I honestly think hip hop was killed by the dirty south.
Don’t get me wrong I still got love for underground hip-hop but now some of them are starting to suck

How is Hip-Hop killed? Lol… By the way, Rap is not the entire genre of Hip-Hop by the way.

In either case, Dirty South rap has brought more attention to rap and made it more popular with the general public at the expense of originality and quality.

Its safe to say that Rap is in dire need of reinvention, but I wouldn’t say its killed because Hip-Hop has more listeners and fans than ever.
