IDK what happened to my smaller 10 gal tank…but like four of my fresh water tetras were dead this morning and there’s a flim on top of the water….i took the remaining fish out of my tank and put then a fish bowl (temparary) and took about half the water out and replaced it with fresh water, but the stuff on top of the water is STILL THERE even after putting a fresh filter in and letting it run for about half an hour. what should i do? should i take all the water out and wash my plants, rocks, shells, ect…..but what about the (helpful) bacteria that i have in my tank?? i have no idea what i should do at this point…suggestions?? thanks~?katie
