    I have to insert a jpeg photo in a new thread
    However the URL is required to insert image
    How to go about it?
    Can I not simply copy – paste image from my computer?
    Please advice

    I’m not a computer geek. I managed it by starting an album, then going to a thread from there. There may be a quicker way but I don’t know it.

    Here is the help that I got from one of the forum mods when I first tried to post a pic:

    You have to post the pic somewhere online, either at an image sharing site (like imageshack or similar), or upload it to your album here on the forums, and then put a link to the picture there in your post.

    Also there is a “sticky” just above your thread (this thread) that lists all the steps to create an album.

    Can’t wait to see your pictures. Everyone here loves pics!!

    You can’t copy am image directly from your computer to a thread.

    As stated above, What you need to do is upload the image to an album (on this website) and then put the link into a thread.
