    1: find something you want to have on your body forever
    2: find an artist who is good in that style
    3: pay him to do it.
    4: look after it

    thats pretty much all there is to it

    and if its about picking tattoo art, I say find something, and put it in your mirror, or somewhere you look alot. If after a few months you still arnt tired with it, then get it..
