I had some script done on my arm years ago when I first started getting tattooed and being young and naive, I didn’t take much good care of them during the healing process. Needless to say, they ended up scarring a little. Though barely noticeable, there are portions of the lettering that are raised. I’ve done some research and as of right now I’m doing a daily regimen of aloe vera topically.

I recently came across an article that talked about silicone gel pads. I’m curious about these. Do you guys think its safe to use these over a tattoo?

Also, has anybody else had experiences with these types of scars? How did you treat them?
