    Hey everyone. I’m new here, but no stranger to tattoos. I got a quote with my dog’s paw 8 days ago and it had been healing fine. The quote actually finished scabbing by the 4th day. the paw print, however, is a different story. There are some crater-like scabs on it and very mild irritation, which has been there. It doesn’t hurt, there is no odor and there isn’t any discharge. I am concerned about infection and the integrity of my tattoo. I’ve one to the same shop for my others, so I’m surprised this is happening. Any helpful feedback is EXTREMELY appreciated!

    It doesn’t look that bad. Different parts of he body heal differently, and continue to heal for about three months.

    Give it time, and of course, don’t pick at it.

    Than you very much! I compared how it looks now to 2 days ago and I think it looks better. I really think I washed it too freequentku and applied the ointment a little too often. It most likely is going to need to be touched up :-/

    Too much ointment is worse than no ointment.

    I’m not sure what Sam is looking at it looks butchered to me.

    I would also be concerned a bit about the wonky lettering.
