I use bepanthen for 3-4 days then i dry heal.

yep, all my tattoo’s heal perfectly as well, i think of it this way: the more you wet the tattoo the softer the scab gets which means it’s easier to come off.

I dry wrap for a couple of days then use unscented lotion like Cetaphil, Aveeno, or Lubriderm. For the first couple of days I add Tea Tree Oil (antiseptic) to the lotion. After it is fully healed (a month or so) I’ll still use moisturizer every day or so. Between moisturizer and sunblock and depending on air conditions (dry/moist) I’ll be doing it from now on.

With my artist, he usually has me keep it wrapped for a few hours and then unwrap it and clean it up really well. Then after it has fully dried I usually start applying a thin layer of Lubriderm unscented lotion a few times a day with usually rewrapping it the first night before bed. I apply lotion to my tattoos on a daily basis but that is my personal preference.

I personally lotion my tattoos every time I shower. Which is rarely.
I’m a bath kinda guy. 😉

I keep lotion anywhere I might be. If I’m lookin dry then I lather up.
At least lotion regularly for the first few months.
