Well I finally have an appointment set to start my next half sleeve. I go in for my first 3 hour session on March 1st. I decided to go with a light/dark theme where my left arm is light and my right arm will be dark. I found this image a while back of a skull with butterflies coming out of a crack in the head. We’ve decided to place the skull on my shoulder with the butterflies going towards my back with a candles with the wax melting. Also decided to incorporate a neo traditional spider web and a few roses that are going to be bleeding. It’s so hard to explain but I’m looking forward to it. Outline and shading will be done first so nothing to spectacular til later on but I will post pictures. Planning to do it in color as well just like my other tattoos.
That sounds very interesting, looking forward to the pics.
Good luck with it 🙂
I will post pics as soon as I can after the first session is done
Very curious about who’s going to pull this off.
My regular artist here in Colorado. Justin Williams from Mile Hi Tattoo
You can see Mile Hi’s page here: https://www.facebook.com/milehitattoo?ref=ts&fref=ts
Love the artists that are there, not just Justin but all of them
I’m sorry but if it were me I sure wouldn’t get tattooed by him. I really don’t understand this thing were people think they need to have loyalty or a relationship with a tattooist. Be friendly yes but your hiring them to do work for you thats it.
This guy really??? This is awful.

Chucky done right

Sounds good!
I too want to see the pictures.

It’s not one of his best no but all the ones he has done for me in the past have been good so I don’t care. I like who I go to, end of story.
The work he’s done for me thus far. Dog on it if you want but I actually like every single piece he’s done and I’m looking forward to sleeve number two.
My half sleeve

My memorial piece

My Ankh retouch. Obviously you can see the before in the picture in the corner, it was horrible

As long as your happy that is all that matters.
As I said before I do like your grandpa tattoo
Yes I am. Like I said, my tattoos I love and I look forward to getting my next sleeve worked on.
Again, thank you for the compliment. A very meaningful piece for me since we just passed the one year mark since his death
Thanks for posting the pictures.
The light background is very interesting. It almost looks air brushed.
You can’t go wrong with flowers, insects, and a few birds. (unless they’re done like shit)
I would go back to him for the other sleeve.

That is my plan! I get a lot of people asking me how the shading works since a lot of people tell me it looks airbrushed and as tattoo junkies and artists we all know its not 😛

Oddley enough, your grandpa tattoo is the one I like the least. Not that it’s not done well, but I guess I had a very different grandpa.
For my grandpa I would have a pouch of Beech-Nut chewing tobbacco close to a “Big Top” brand of canned peaches (empty can).
Of all the great times we had together, nothing sticks out in my mind like him sitting on his chair with a chew and getting about 98% into the peach can.
Thanks for the flashback!
