It’s been a little bit less than a month since ive had tattoo’s on me now. It’s definitely taking some getting used to. My roommate was a tattoo artist and im a graphic designer so in the end right before we moved out and parted he tattoo’d my fingers, entire hand and a little bit up my forearm x) good work for free, he kinda pushed me to start tattooing and im considering it now as it does look quite fun, plus tattoo’s are so fun x)

The only thing that sucks is i’m just recently starting to feel the discrimination :/ it’s stupid too, i’ve had so many families of friends talk bad about me as if im less of a person for having tattoo’s now. Like its changed me into a bad person. I also now am having a bit more difficulty finding work but i’m still hanging in and proud of my tattoo’s. It’s all taking some getting used to x)

You don’t become a tattoo artist because it look’s cool and it might be fun, you have to have a real passion for it and want to succeed in it or you will just fail and will not get through the bantar of the apprentiship.

You began with the second most taboo place of the body, a place which respectable tattoo artists refuse to do on people unless they are already heavily tattooed and used to the discrimination, and you are surprised that people don’t like it? Good luck with finding a job that pays more than nickels and dimes bro. You jumped head first into a rock-frozen lake.

My in-laws will never get used to tattoos. Fortunatly I’m in a secure employment position. We hire tattooed people all the time both in the office and in the field. Check out railroad employment. Good jobs, good money.
