Hi everyone, I just had two star tattoos placed on my elbows to cover up/fix the stars I had which were really badly done. In order to fix and straighten the stars, the stars had to be enlarged to about a 1.25 inch diameter star. I’m happy with the work, but the stars now resemble the NFL Dallas Cowboys logo. Mine are black with a white border and a thin black border.
Question: What would you recommend I should have done so that they are no longer being mistaken for the Cowboys?
Dallas Cowboys Star

The only difference on my tattoo is instead of blue, mine are black.
What to do?????

Never, ever wear one of these for starters.

I’m not quite sure what more you could do with it. I guess that only D.C.S’s would recognize it as a similar logo…. how many of them are out there, really?
Make the best of it. You might just score a D.C. cheerleader!
I was going to add a dark red and black border. That little addition of color I think would make it different enough so that I am not misidentified as a D.C. superfan.
🙂
We really need to see the actual tattoo to be able to tell you what can and can not be done. Without seeing it, my current advice would be to get it lasered and then get a competent artist to make you a better tattoo down the road.
Oh, and one thread’s quite enough.
