Hi, I am currently thinking about a new tattoo. I have decided that what I want is a full back piece of the ocean, showing the shore (preferably a cliff). The two add ons that I have considered is a woman standing on the rocks of the cliff looking out, and a ship pulling out. Somewhere in the piece I also want to include the words “The ocean rolls us away.”

Has anyone seen anything like this? I am looking for tattoos or even paintings or drawings to take some inspiration from. Eventually I do want to have my own design created, however I think that if I have something to say “ya, this is what I want here” it will make things easier.

I am also looking for any advice on this particular tattoo. This is only my second one, and I am fairly new to this. Secondly I live in Japan and my Japanese is quite poor, so communicating with tattoo artists can be difficult sometimes, so the simpler the better.
