I am tring to decide what kind of memorial tat to get for my mother who passed last month. I am considering a portrait (I found a great pic of mom from like the 70’s) or a flaming heart type of memorial. I not really fond of portraits (I am heavy on the body hair and don’t think mom would look good with a beard) so I am leaning towards the flaming heart design. Just want to hear what everyone thoughts are. Does anyone have a memorial tat and if so what is it? Did getting the tat help you come to grips or does it bring up memories? Any feedback will be appreciated. Post some links to pics if you have some ideas, I’m not totally set on either design. Also, I’m not a religious person, so crosses and such are out.
