my new tats looked great when i got them but they all (4 separate images) started scabbing badly after i got them. i have been washing with gentle anti-bacterial soap and using lotion (fragrance + alcohol free as instructed by my artist) however,the scabs still are peeling + flaking off and it looks like they took all the ink with them… was my tat not done right? what can i do? the images are/were supposed to be a 1 color (solid dark red) and i am very concerned that my tats are messed up. i am currently using eucerin plus on them… should i stop?

hmm, the scan looks quite thick like the tattoo has been over worked or the guys gone two deep .
but i dont really see any scaring or any reactions to the red ink .
All tattoos look faded and shiny after the 1st layer of scab comes off , and then your body has a second try at fixing your skin and you get a shiny skin which people in the business call silver skin .
you can get the colour re touched when its all healed , your tattoo is a bird ?
i would personally get it a little more defined when you get it touched up :rolleyes:
