    Hi

I added a new piece to my blog on the subject of tattooing with human ashes.

Whilst I am sure it is a controversial topic it was a subject that was worth devoting a bit of time to and hopefully will make an interesting read – regardless of your stance on the rights or wrongs of it.

    Thanks.

I saw someone get a tattoo done on miami ink with someones ashes added to the ink. personally i dont see anything wrong with doing it , im sure it would help heal grieving a little and bring a feeling of closeness .

will check your blog out 😉

Yeah I saw that one too, first time I’d ever even heard about it. Whatever makes ’em happy though.

    Hi

I will be frank my own feelings are guided by my Jewish upbringing – having something from a dead person tattooed into you is simply abhorrent to me.

That said I can understand why others may want to have it done – and if it helps them with their grief then good luck to them in doing it.

The person who asked me (off forum) was considering having it done in the UK so I said i would look into it for them.

I missed the Miami Ink where they do it – but they were one of several shops that have reference to doing this.

The bit I put is fairly skeletal I will at somepoint expand it further with the various legislation etc – I just wanted to keep it simple for people to get their head around what it is.

I’m with you on that one Sherav, I don’t think it’s disgusting, but it’s not something I would get done
