Hi, our very busy shop located in regional Victoria is looking to expand and put on a new tattoo and piercing apprentice.
We will consider applicants from anywhere in Australia as long as they are willing to travel.
Expect apprenticeship to take anywhere from 3-6 years.
We are looking for someone who is an artist first and foremost, although we are happy to help refine your skills, artistic ability is essential.
We require a male OR female who is intelligent, a quick learner, motivated, hard working, honest and committed to becoming a professional tattoo artist and body piercer and also show absolute passion for the industry.
Our shop is very successful in a medium sized town that is experiencing substantial growth. Our studio is independant and booked solid nine months in advance, so it is a once in a life time opportunity for the right applicant.

Yeah thats a shame mate. We will only consider someone with very strong artistic ability. WE are not seeking perfection and we can teach them how to refine their skills, but unfortunately you need a lot of natural ability in the first place. We aren’t going to disclose the exact location just yet. For a few reasons. We have had a lot of unsuccessful local applicants in the past and do not want to be bombarded with those we have already refused. but also we really want to find someone who has the passion and like me and the person I was fortunate enough to train under, would be happy to travel to any part of the country for the opportunity. Thats how you find someone who truly has the commitment. At some stage, we will obviously have to disclose the location, so the apprentice can buy their ticket, lol, but for now we are keeping it all under wraps.
Ah k, fair enough, quite clever actually! I was just wondering if it might have been near me, there’s quite a few tattoo shops here. I won’t press the matter further though!
You most likely won’t hear much from this site in terms of applicants, most users are located in England, you’re the 4th Victorian I’ve met on my time here.
