(Ignore the oil can and hand)
Approx. how much could this end up costing me?
I want it on my upper chest and I live in Kansas.
Also, the font will be waaaaayhay different, if there at all. So basically, just the heart.

    Hi

It depends on the size and whether you want to go colour or black n shade.
I would reckon around $400+ if you goto a respectable artist. There is a lot of fine details so I reckon around a 3 hour sitting on that at least.

    This is a guestimate though.

The color would be that kind of sepia tone, as seen in the picture. It would be the size of a fist, basically the size of an actual heart.

    Hi

I would still say around $400 maybe a bit less.

That heart would go on the left side of my chest, like when saying the pledge of allegiance. Right there.

sweet , i think id have it black and gray more than sepia
from when i can tell the sepia colour fades faster than black and gray .

but im not 100% on that

    Hi

Black with subtle shading and gray works a lot better as sepia is basically mixed brown pigment that does tend to fade a bit quicker.

Personal choice on colour but great concept on tattoo.

Thanks for the input on the color! I chose sepia just because it looks more mechanical that way..kind of steampunk, if you will. I will definitely consider black/gray though.
