Could someone take a look at some pictures of my tattoo, got it done 2 weeks ago and it has a blue hue in the surrounding skin right round the entire tattoo, I went back to my tattooist and he has tried to tell me that it is a bruise and will go away but honestly its not sore at all and does not seem like a bruise to me!![V] Any professional opinions on this would be of great help as I feel he has ruined my skin and its on my upper arm so very noticable!

hi , if you post the pics here we have quite a few artist plus many tattoo enthusiasts here that can help

if it is blow out it couple possibly be hidden with some shading so try not to worry too much 😉

Above is a link to a picture of my tattoo, it is a little blurry but I had to take it quite close so u could see the blue hue and to be honest it looks alot worse in reality, my proble is due to the nature of my job that is a low down my arm as I can go or it will be visible, but my tattooist seems to be blowing me off!!

Sorry I know its a bad pic but here is a pic of the whole tattoo u can see it slightly in this but I will take some more to show it close up, but the butterfly even looks really patchy and I did not pic and it feels very raised on my skin?

sorry to be a photo snob
but its still hard to tell, i can see what you mean a bit but from what i can tell im sure some shading could hide the problem & not make your tattoo much larger than it already is.
(incase you was worried about work)

    Hi

I am not able to tell from the pics as a bruising and blow outs can look very similar.
If it is a blow out it is easily corrected with some light shading.

Is it possible to get clearer pics?

    Take Care
