    So I overlooked being on antibiotics and booked for my first tattoo. Last night I was put on cefprozil for 20 days because of my sinuses being always infected. I’ve only taken 3 doses, and stopping/postponing would be easy as it’s been only one day and I’m hardly sick.

    It is going to be small lettering on the inside of two of my fingers in UV ink, and I’ve already paid the deposit. 🙁

    edit: What do I have to worry about and would I still be able to have the tattoo?

    Hi

    You should be ok as it is a low strength but you have to remember that whilst on antibiotics your immune system is much more susceptible to bacterial infections.

    You will have to take extra care of the tattoo and make sure that you are in general good health.

    If you have any bouts of dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath or bleeding from the nose, do not get tattooed.

    I’m freaking out a little bit less now after I called the tattoo place and they said pretty much the same thing.

    I did a round with the same antibiotics a few months ago and there weren’t any weird reactions.
