ok i just turned 18 and i am looking to get my last name down my right side in medevil German writingsince my last name is german. does anyone have a chart to show me what all the letters look like i don’t want to draw the letters wrong also if anyone could draw this up i would appreciate it my last name is FRANZ
hoy, if you type in medieval german you should get something, it wasnt much different except the umlaut wasnt invented and certain ‘s’s were written more like ‘f’s which doesnt apply to you anyway. I used Walden font. co to get a decent font for the tatt Im getting ( in german!) and In fact I’ve found you a nice document done by them with names and examples of germanic based fonts from 1455 onwards in it, hope it helps.
