Hi, i had a tattoo on my right forearm. And it was terrible.
So a few months after i got another tattoo over it to cover it.
Little did i know the tattoo artist was shockingly bad.
So now i have a badly coverd tattoo that u can still see. With a even worse tattoo over the top.
I think its probably a difficult one to fix but any ideas of how i could cover it (using a good tattoo artist this time) would be great.

Hi
It can be done but will not be cheap as you will need a very talented artist andsome lasering to lighten the ink enough for a cover up.
My advice is to get an artist to rework the outline so it stands out against the skin then you need to shade in over the ink showing through.
If you do it will basically mean a hell of a lot of black ink to cover up over that and laser lightening is prob the best way to go first – just enough to make the next tattoo go on clearer.

I was thinking perhaps i could completely cover the top half in black, and try to make it a moon? like with white shade. if thats possible.
And then just try to touch up the lower half, Fix the lines ect. And get more added round the tattoo to take the attention of the bad bits?
Hi
Thinking on it that is possible if you got the whole tattoo reworked with bold black and a good use of highlights it would work ok. It will mean that you will lose quite a bit of detail at the top part though as will be block style to work it over the old ink.
The main issue is covering the ink beneath as the rest can easily be rectified.
Find a good artist who deals in cover-up or repair work and see if they can do a correction first rather than a cover over – the tattoo idea is great and the bottom half looks good.
