    Hi, I’m new here so I hope I’m not asking something really obvious or repeating anything.

    Got my 1st tattoo yesterday. I knew the ink would run/bleed a little, and it comes off when I wash it. I have sensitive skin and figured it would take a while longer for it to heal.

    My question is – the ink has run on the surface a little and spoiled the design. Will this go away when it peels?

    The little runs wash off, but there’s a big splodge which must’ve happened overnight and it joins two bits together where there should be a space. Will this go away?

    I don’t want to touch it too much coz it’s so fresh, but I don’t want my design ruined.

    Hi Hef

    As long as the needle did not pierce the skin and formed the blob any ink runs will fade/peel away when the tattoo has healed.

    Just keep it clean and moisturised and i am sure it will be fine.

    Don’t pick the scabs as this will lift the ink and leave you with a blotchy tattoo.
