I don’t know if I’m just not thinking out of the box clearly enough, but when I look at someone with a full body suit, or a partial, etc. How does it all tie together so well? I have an entire back piece, almost finished, of an Alice and Wonderland theme. Now, I enjoy the piece but that isn’t what I want my entire theme to be, the whole theme was pretty much addressed and it’s time to move on. If I were going to tie a sleeve design in with another design in with that design, what is the key to not making it so “hodge podge”?
Hi
To be honest even if you went for a full body suit you could have each section as a separate work of art.
Whilst some ppl do go for a singular theme I have sen many suits made up of various styles but they worked because each arm, leg, back etc had their own theme and was clearly individual works.
I have also seen some that follow a general but not specific trend – it is your body and you should do what you like.

I’ve actually thought about this myself…
How ten varied tattoos become incorporated into a whole design without seeming to be mushed together.
Some things I’ve seen are simply placing the stencil:
But not coloring any part of the area that overlaps previously tattooed area.
Like…missing the tips of a birds wing in order to make it fit.
I eventually want my whole back done…
I’ll have to think of something.
i have nearly one full sleeve and there’s no particular theme, they’re designs i like, but all of it blends in well together.
