    Please Help ME!!!
    I Really Want a tattoo i have just turned 18 and my mum will now let me WAHOO
    um…but im wanting one on my foot yes i no it can be painfull there, but im going on holiday next thursday to Turkey should i wait till i get back to get it done or will it be okay to have before i go?
    chlorine pool?
    heat?
    sunburn?
    i just really want it for my holiday but if its best to wait ill just have to.
    also does anyone know any really good tattooist in Portsmouth?

    Hi

    A tattoo before a holiday abroad (esp in hot and sunny countries) is never a good idea.

    The tatoo will need a min of 2-3 weeks before you put it in chlorine as this will sting like a bastard and can also ruin your tattoo.

    Also you really do not want to put in direct sunlight for 4-6 weeks to let the skin below heal fully. The surface will prob heal within 2 weeks but this does not mean the tattoo if healed all the way down.

    Then you should use sunblock if you intend to sunbathe – hot sun wrecks tattoos.

    My advice have your holiday and give a lot of thought to it – you will wear it for life and a few weeks won’t matter.
