    Hi all!
This is my first post and i’m hoping you can help. I’ve recently decided i would like an angel tattoo and after searching the internet i can’t find one that’s quite right. I want it to be small, simple and beautifully symbolic (not necessarily a whole angel). If anyone can point me in the right direction to find this or a good designer i’d really appreciate it.
    Thanks!

    Hi Fifi

Do you want the angel to be traditional, cute, warrior, comedy, memorial, guardian angel etc? (All of these can be done in a partial or simple format).

There are many drawings of angels out there and sites dedicated to them.
I know a few sites but would need a little more info to push you in the right direction.

    Let me know.

    Cheers for the reply Matthew!

Im thinking more biblical than cute or cartoon-like – to give you a bit of history i’ve been through some emotionally tricky times recently and i like to mark epic moments in my life with a tattoo, for that constant reminder of who you are and where you’ve been. I want this tattoo to be a symbol of love, protection and faith. I’d prefer simple lines than anything too fancy and intricate.

Hope this makes sense and can help you point me in the right direction!

    Thanks for your time

    Hi Fleur

I have posted some links for angels – the first is one of my fave deviant art artists and he has no problems in ppl using his work for tattoos and often wants you to post the finished result to him.

The guardian angel in black/shade or colour may interest you – it needs a face (he has a trait of leaving them blank)

If these are not what you are after let me know and I will keep digging for you.

Thanks for that Matthew there’s some great artwork there that’s giving me food for thought!

At first glance i think the images on the karenswhimsy site may be more like i initially had in mind – more suggestive than illustrative i guess!

Thanks for digging these out for me 🙂
