i have looked at the angel you have but feel it would not be easy to add and make it bigger, you might think of having a larger piece done on another part of your body instaed, there is the posibility of adding clouds or something extra but the angel itself would look have to stay as it is.
it is a simple but very clean and sharp looking piece of work you have

Yes that is one sweet tattoo and if you tried to alter the proportions of the body on the angel you would ruin it.
As for adding to it there are a few options (although I would leave it as it is)
You can add clouds
Some pearly/ornate gates in the background.
A dove flying overhead.

the design of the angel makes me think of sorrow , so instead of adding clouds i think i would add some sort of decaying landscape behinds it in black and grey …. no colour !!

I’m Danny from Croatia. Last summer i got my first tattoo. I always wanted an angel, but stupid as i was, i went for a relatively small tattoo. Now i would like to expand it in some way just i dont have an idea how to do that.
Any suggestions?

Why don’t you do a larger angel the same style around that angel and make it look like the larger angel is protecting the smaller one. even angels have a higher power to watch over them.
