    Tattoo Removal.

A certain person i know told me they got some initials on their finger. Then proceeded to tell me that her son tore off a part of one of the letters a few days after. (Is that even possible?) She then told me that she removed initials using a razor blade to scrape of the skin, then put salt on it i think she said, then wrapped. I’m just wondering if this is even possible to remove tattoo this way?

I don’t know what you mean by ‘tore off’, maybe tore off the scab and compromised the colour a bit?
A tattoo is pretty deep in your skin, and to use a razor to take it off, you’d end up taking off many layers of skin and do major damage to yourself… Don’t try it.

    Hi

I have seen many DIY tattoo removals.
Yes it is possible to remove a tattoo with a razor blade if you are willing to cut just about all the skin away.

You would have to cut down to around the 4th dermal layer which since you have 7 layers is now exposing raw flesh. Also there is no guarantee that you will get all the ink or it may leave an outline or blotches.

This will then leave you with a scar and can also lead to various infections, including it going septic or in one rare case I saw in middle east gangrene.

Picking the scab off does not remove the tattoo – it can lift the ink but leave it blotchy, spotty, or the outline of where the tattoo was (hence the razor).

My advice is if you think that you might want a tattoo removing 1. Don’t get it in the first place or 2. Go to a professional dermatologist for the best method advice.

tattoo hurt but not bloody, wound but graceful. That’s why I accept it.
Rubbing salt in a wound, Oh my god. You may create a new scar.
    Janey love peace!!
why not try laser tattoo removal, it’s no hurt, effective, not affect skin around.
