I ordered one of Copytat’s “ZR – 1 system”, which is supposed to be a thermal tattoo stencil maker (mimeo master burner) for $295.00. However, what was shipped was a $50 HP Deskjet D2460.

I have had several non-productive communications with Copytat. I keep getting a runaround amounting to “No Refunds, No Returns”. I’ve also put in a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attourny General’s Consumer Complaint department, to no avail.

I am looking for others who have had the same experience. I would like to assemble a detailed dossier on this company to submit to law enforcement agencies in the city where this company does business.

Here is a ‘WhoIs’ lookup of the copytat.com site:

I am not alone in falling victim of this scam:

Anyone who has been ripped off by this person, please send me full details of your experience. Maybe if enough of us complain to her local police department, something will be done about it.

Even though I realize I probably won’t recover my loss; I would at least like to put this person out of business so she doesn’t rip off any more of our fellow tattoo artists.

    Thank You,

    Hi John

Sorry to hear about the scam ๐Ÿ™

Can you not take them to a small claims court as they have sold you a product that is not as described in the advert? (From the UK so maybe different laws in USA).

Or could you visit them in person to ‘discuss’ the matter?

    Take Care
