greetings all, looking for someone that can draw better than me (that dont take much btw) to put to paper a couple half sleeve ideas i have.
i’ve already got one tattoo, the 1906 Ford logo, as seen here: http://www.cartype.com/pics/3155/small/ford_logo-group.jpg
i want to add to it. its already got the general shape of a 20’s/30’s hotrod, so i want to capitolize on that, add a little scoop over the “hood”, flames out of the “exhaust pipe”, add a quarter circle shaped “trunk” to it, wheel’s/tire’s underneath, with the back tires roasting and smoking off. in addition, i want to add other hotrod stuff, not necessarily to the fordrod, but to help make the quarter sleeve. hurst shifter, cragar ss wheels, the classic ford “V8” symbol, stuff like that.
the existing tattoo is most of the way up my arm, towards my shoulder, so most of the stuff would be below it.
for the second half sleeve, i have an affiniti for german cars lol, so i want to base it off that.
i want the audi rings for the centerpiece. in the two center rings, i want the vw logo and the bmw roundel, and fill the outter two with the colors of the german flag. i suppose this would be a vertical piece, up and down the bicept. instead of german flags in the end circles, perhaps draw some rims, enkei spoke style, and make something of a cockpit/dome over the top of the circles, and do that in the german colors instead. at the back of the rings, a muffler tip, idk.
i’ve just the basic ideas of what i want, i’m open to the rest. anyone wanna give it a shot? draw up some stuff?
ok, i made an attempt at some sketches, and i’m pretty sure my sons can draw better than i lol.
ok, here they are, i was thinking of laying both over a paisley pattern, red wtih black bits.
right arm will be to finish the ford logo, turn it into a hotrod, and add the other things floating on the paisley.
left arm will start with the audi logo, adding in the vw and bmw logos, and rims. the body outline (which is supposed to be the audi tt…i suck at drawing) will be colored after the german flag (audi, vw, and bmw are german cars after all). add a couple things like a muffler tip sticking out (can be seen on the left), maybe an antenna sticking up, idk. above and below the car i wanna add tire tracks, like goodyear assurance with the v-tread.
the hotrod tattoo will be as is, up and down the arm, the sportcar tattoo will more than likely be sideways going up and down my arm instead of across.
anyone willing to do a better rendition of my scribble? 😀
