    So I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo for a while now, problem is that I can’t really think of a solid idea that I like.

    I know I want something that has to do with water (ocean pref.) but I just can’t stick to anything.

    Any help?

    I would suggest that you look through google images of seascapes, visit art galleries or even take a stroll along the ocean front to get an idea of what you want.

    Inspiration is the key – you know it when you feel it!

    Try looking at pics of irezumi (japanese tattoo art) – koi carps and things feature a lot in that like this – http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/29/Irezumi_Tattoo.jpg – you could incorporate that sort of thing. It all really depends on the size and style you’re after, it’s virtually impossible to give ideas when I don’t know what size you want, where you want it, what you’re into, etc. Just typing in ‘water tattoo’ into google brings up a lot of results so if you haven’t already, browse through and see if you can get any inspiration, try doing the same on deviantart.com too, and once you have a vague idea you can visit your artist and you can get something drawn up together.
