Hi my names Justin and I have a tattoo of the state of Florida along with a Sun behind it, and a moon inside my bicep. My initials go down the back of my tricep.

Question is I wanna know if I get words going down my bicep where the rays are (Words would go over the rays) would you be able to see them, and also Where the rays come out on my chest, they don’t really flow with the tat and I wanna get them covered up. I was thinking of either putting FLA over the extra rays or putting a Guardian Angel to cover my entire left side of my chest and the rays.

Also where my moon is I’m gonna get stars and clouds to depict the night.

Any picstures or suggestions for any of these ideas would be great, and oh ya do you think this tat was proffesionaly done? I got it done by a friend who was in jail for 15+ years and I feel like I like it more for that reason but was wondering if I got it touched up by someone else could it look better?

Because of the mess up of the rays on your chest, no I don’t think it’s professionally done. As well, I don’t think prison tattoos are really professional. But it does have its own style to it and it looks very different from anything you’d get on the outside. The ink is “slightly” different because of its ingredients… Do you know what he used in his ink?

This tattoo is huge. I wouldn’t recommend a cover up at all. It’s all black ink and I wouldn’t really recommend changing anything on it unless you’re using the same guy to do it. Again, it’s very stylized.

In my opinion, it looks very unique and professional or not, it looks pretty good.

So while this is your skin and your tattoo, I’d suggest getting ink done else where and leaving it alone.
