Theres a latin phrase “Memento mori” which means “remember you must die” so pretty much the tattoo is a reminder to live your life happy/to the fullest. I’ve seen a lot of top hats and skulls but I’m a big fan of the fedoras and it just worked out really awesome with it. I also wear them a lot now so even if I don’t later in life it can be a reminder of my youth when I get old.
